Deputy Clay Gray Awarded Lifesaving Medal
Tift County Deputy Clay Gray received a Lifesaving Medal last night from Colonel Larry Taylor and Sheriff Gene Scarbrough. Deputy Gray administered CPR to an unresponsive person who was not breathing on December 17, 2015. Deputy Gray was able to successfully resuscitate the victim with the assistance of a family member. The victim was then transported to the Tift Regional Medical Center for additional treatment.
Sheriff Scarbrough added that "the exceptional service of Deputy Gray is a credit to the Tift County Sheriff's Office and the citizens of Tift County and his job performance merits special recognition and praise."
